INVEST YOUR TALENT IN ITALY" scholarship is funded by the Italian government that allows international students from outside Italy to obtain a master’s degree at major Italian universities.
Higher Education in Italy
Italian universities have a wide reputation among international universities. The university sector in Italy consists of 58 public universities, 9 specialised graduate schools, 18 non-governmental universities, and 11 online universities. The non-university sector includes higher schools of design, higher education in language, higher education integrated, and higher education in specific fields such as military studies. Like most universities in Europe, the academic year in Italy is divided into two semesters as well, starting in September until February and ending in July again.
There are about 30 Italian universities among the top 500 universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings classification in 2019. The best Italian universities are:

- Università di Bologna
- Sapienza - Università di Roma
About the Scholarship
The Program is aimed at increasing cooperation between Italian universities and companies, so as to boost their level of internationalisation. It also allows young foreign talents to get their specialisation in Italy and to start a working experience in the Italian companies that are part of the Program.
Finance
- Accepted students are exempted from the payment of tuition fees.
- Accepted students must subscribe a health insurance policy to cover any expenses due to illnesses or accident.
- Grantees will receive a 900 € monthly allowance on a quarterly basis, which will be paid on their Italian bank account.
- The scholarship will cover a period of study of 9 months starting from October 1st, 2022.
- The renewal of the scholarship for the second academic year will be confirmed only if the following requirements are met:
a- complete a minimum of 30 credits (the Italian CFUs) by July 20th, 2022.
b- provide proof of regular attendance of the Italian language classes.
c- provide the Italian company’s “Internship Declaration”.

Eligibility
- Applicants must have been born on or after January 1st, 1996.
- Applicants must be citizens, effectively living, in one of the following countries:-
( Azerbaijan, Armenia, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Mexico, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam)
- Only those students who have submitted their pre-application for ONE of the postgraduate courses (Master) included in the Program can apply for a IYT scholarship, following each University’s enrollment procedures:

- Candidates must submit an English language certificate as proof of their proficiency in English at least B2 level.
- If you have obtained an English-taught Bachelor’s Degree can submit a certificate issued by their university, stating that English is the language of the courses in that university. This certificate can be accepted as proof of proficiency in English.
Required Documents
- Valid passport at least 6 months
- Your CV
- Video in which the candidate should explain their motivations (no longer than 1 minute)
- English language certificate IELTS, TOEFL or Certificate issued by their university, stating that English is the language of the courses in that university.
- Italian language certificate, when applicable.
- Transcript of all previous exams as well as the final grade (Bachelor’s Degree).
Attention: An official translation into English, French or Spanish is required if the documents are in a language other than these three languages. Both the translated documents and the original copies must be provided.
Selection procedures
- Applications will be examined and evaluated by a Technical Committee composed by representatives of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Trade Agency and Uni-Italia.
- The IYT Technical Committee will inform the selected candidates via email at the email address used for the registration on the My-App IYT platform by the end of June 2022.
