A unique training opportunity for young people to attend a 7-day training course on the topic of gender equality and combating gender discrimination. Training is organised by Ofensiva Tinerilor (Youth NGO) in Arad , Romania and funded by Erasmus+ programme.
About Training
Ofensiva Tinerilor is offering this spring a face-to-face Thematic Awareness Training on the topic of gender equality and gender-based discrimination. We intend to involve a group of 24 youth workers coming from different Erasmus + Program Countries and Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU who are interested to be familiar with methods that can be used by youth workers and teachers to promote tolerance and promote a more inclusive learning environment between youth.
About Arad
Arad, a beautiful city situated in the western Romania on the banks of the river Mures, is only 30 km away from the Hungarian border. The town has approximately 200.000 inhabitants, three quarters being Romanians and the rest is represented by Hungarians, Germans, Italians, Serbs and other minorities in smaller percentages. There are many tourist and historical places worth visiting in the city, such as City hall, St. Anthony of Padua church, Holy Trinity Cathedral, State of Liberty, Strandul Neptun, The Atonement park of Arad and Trajan Bridge. Finance and Benefits
- No application or Participation fee
- All travel expenses will be reimbursed based on the Erasmus+ flat rates as follows
- For travel distances between 100 and 499 KM: 180 EUR per participant
- For travel distances between 500 and 1999 KM: 275 EUR per participant
- For travel distances between 2000 and 2999 KM: 360 EUR per participant
- For travel distances between 3000 and 3999 KM: 530 EUR per participant

- You must have a sending organisation which has an OID number for Erasmus+ projects to be eligible to participate in the course, if you haven't a sending organisation you can check the organisations near to you from here.
