During the programme, associates attend master classes with industry leaders and CEOs, receive skills development training, attend cultural events and excursions, and are paired with a career and life coach.
The size of each year’s cohort varies, so the maximum number of associates is 40. Programme aims is to recruit 1/3 from China, 1/3 local Emiratis, and 1/3 from the rest of the world.
This program is organised by Falcon and Associates, a company established in 2009 by Ruler’s Decree to tell the story of Dubai to the world. Falcon’s pillars of business include education, sport, and events.
Over the 7 cohorts completed, DBA successfully delivered 69 consulting projects to 26 leading entities in Dubai from both the private and public sector.
Dubai has saved an estimated $21 million or more in fees thanks to the 69 consulting projects that DBA completed instead of consulting firms. The value that Dubai will receive from carrying out these projects is not included in this figure.
Each year, One consulting project is awarded the Outstanding Project Award based on exemplary qualities in teamwork, quality of work, client satisfaction, strategic importance of the project and the level of difficulty the team had to overcome.
Eligibility Criteria
All nationalities from all over the world are welcome to apply for Dubai Business Associate program. applicants should be a recent graduates who have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, all the academic backgrounds are acceptable, applicants are not required to hold a degree in Business to apply.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English, with ideally one additional language
- A big interest in international and Dubai business
- Having 0-3 years of working experience, applicants without zero experience they can apply as well.
- A curious, inquiring mind
Note: Each application is reviewed in light of the eligibility criteria and each component of the application is considered (cover letter/letter of interest, CV, and video biography). Both content and presentation are taken into account.
Finance and Benefits
Dubai Business Associate programme is fully funded. there is no any cost to join the programme.
- Associates receive joining airfare to travel to Dubai at the beginning of the programme, and airfare back to their point of departure at the end of the programme
- Associates receive accommodation in a high-standard hotel apartment, medical insurance, and residence visa.
- During the programme, associates receive a monthly living allowance that is sufficient for day-to-day expenses and even some regional travel.
- There is no guarantee of a job after completing the programme. The programme does provide associates with ample networking opportunities, and many past associates have been able to secure jobs in the UAE after graduation.
- Associates receive a certificate acknowledging their completion of the programme. Associates also have the option of applying for the prestigious Consulting Badge, which if awarded, can be placed in their LinkedIn profile to show employers they have the skills of a junior consultant.
