As part of a network of national youth centers, we are Finland's leading school camp organizer, with a focus on experiential education. Additionally, all youth centers offer Nuotta coaching, a well-known tool in social youth work that helps young people develop their social and life management skills.
About the Training course
European Erasmus education, training, and mobility opportunities are designed to help participants enhance their social skills, cultural awareness, engagement with EU dynamics, and education across various fields and competencies. However, a lack of confidence in language skills can be a significant barrier that prevents participants, including both leaders and youth, from fully benefiting from these opportunities.
This course aims to provide leaders and teachers with a deeper understanding, improved usage, and most importantly, greater self-confidence in the English language within the Erasmus+ context. It also offers practice-driven training in techniques they can apply during cultural exchanges with young people, thereby enriching the experience for everyone involved.
The course will integrate soft skills, CLIL, theatre, and mindfulness, among other methods, in a positive, fun, and safe environment to promote better and more proficient use of the English language.
Participants will be combining indoor sessions with some outdoor activities, taking advantage of the beautiful environment of Metsäkartano and the facilities there.
