About XERACION VALENCIA

XERACION VALENCIA is a youth cultural non-profit with offices in Gandia (Valencia) and NarCn (Galicia) with the main aim of empowering youth to develop themselves and their critical thinking in order to become active citizens who will improve our society. The organisation promotes and practices values of tolerance, human dignity, inter-culturalism, cooperation, social justice, gender equality and integration, as well as a sustainable development, healthy life styles and an active protection of the environment.

They also organise youth Exchanges, Training Courses and host, send and coordinate European EVS/ESC volunteers from different countries in environmental, social, entrepreneurial and educational projects.


About PBA4Beginners

This Partnership Building Activity for beginners is designed to connect organisations and their staff who work with youth (including those new to the Erasmus+ field) to meet potential partners, build a trusted network, and develop new projects under the Erasmus+ program. The project targets youth workers and other staff members of youth organisations who wish to assist their youth in organising Erasmus+ activities, as well as young people eager to start their own non-profit youth organisations or non-formal education activities, who can benefit from this initiative. The main objectives for the training are:-

Empower organisations and their staff members, youth workers or youth leaders by giving them the necessary skills and knowledge to start working with the Erasmus Youth program.

Enhance the development of youth policies with non-formal education by training youth workers with tools and competencies to improve the quality of their work  with young people.

Create a community and trusted network of youth workers and organisations for cooperation in the future that can support the quality of projects and activities for youth under the ErasmusA youth program.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- The training is available for 25 participants with no age limit

- The ideal participants for this project are youth workers, youth leaders, staff members who are:

  • eager to help youth organising their own non-formal education activities;
  • looking forward to start their own projects and to meet other partners to do projects together (with little or no previous experience;
  • with experience or interest on the topic of sustainability (at all levels) and social inclusion
  • with an open mind, adaptable to changes and ready to be out of their comfort zone

- Participants from all Erasmus+ program countries are welcome to apply.


Expenses and Benefits

- There is no any participation fee.

- Accommodation will be in Albergue Guvenil Argentina in Beniassim in double and triple rooms.

- Three meals per day will be provided for the participants and coffee breaks.

The travel costs will be reimbursed (up to one month after the end of the activity and after the host organisation received all the required documents)  of flights, trains, buses, carpooling but NO TAXIS up to the maximum amount indicated by this distance calculator provided by the EQ as it follows, calculated from the city of Valencia 

· Locations from less than 500Kms - 56 EUR (Spanish participants)

· 500Kms to 1999Kms - 309 EUR (Most EU countries)

· 2000Kms to 2999Kms - 395 EUR

· 3000Kms to 3999Kms - 580 EUR

- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.


Program Timetable

Day 1: ARRIVALS. Visit to Valencia City. Cirst Kinner together.

Day 2: Welcome, presentations, getting to Know each other at personal level.

Day 3: Getting to Know each other at professional level - NGO Market -

Day 4: Erasmus Youth and other opportunities for youth and youth workers - NetworKing

Day 5: Working in groups by interests and reinforcing our network.

Day 6: Presentations by groups of the worK done and the alliances

Day 7: Evaluation and closing, feedback, reflections, next steps.


What to Bring

- TOWEL (for bath and swimming pool) and TOILETRIES.

- DON'T BRING bed sheets or covers/sleeping bags.Swim suit (there is a swimming pool in the venue).

- Your own bottle of water/cup to refill (metal, glass or hard plastic).

- Mosquito repellent and sun cream.

- A lot of good energy and a positive attitude.
