An exciting opportunity for 200 youth workers, trainers, young entrepreneur and youth activists to join the Youth@Work European Year of Skills Closing Forum in Antalya, Turkiye from 4-7 December 2024. This forum is organised by the Turkish National Agency and funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

About the Forum 

Youth@Work European Year of Skills Closing Forum focus on youth development and youth employment and the future of work! Participants will explore public policies, digitalisation, and innovative pathways to employment through expert-led sessions. 

The employment landscape worldwide is undergoing significant changes due to technological progress, economic shifts, and evolving societal expectations. A key element of this change is its effect on youth employment. To tackle these challenges and explore the emerging opportunities, a forum is being organized to discuss current trends, research insights, and various policy strategies concerning youth employment and the future of work.

The main objectives of this forum are:

- To evaluate the current status of youth employment in Europe and neighbouring regions, emphasising trends, challenges, and opportunities.

- To highlight innovative research and practices in the area of youth employment and digitalisation.

- To discuss and debate different public policies and initiatives designed to improve youth employability.

- To examine the impact of AI and digitalisation on future job prospects for young people.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

The forum will gather 200 participants who are a youth workers, policymakers, researchers, educators, industry leaders, youth advocates, young entrepreneurs, and representatives from international organisations and civil society, all united by a common interest in youth employment and future workforce trends.

- Participants must be over 18 years old.

- Participants must be a resident in one of the following countries (from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries (Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye),   orPartner Countries Neighbouring the EU (Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine)

- Having a good command of English language.


Expenses and Benefits

- There is no participation fee for joining the form

The Turkish National Agency will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Participants are required to contact their National Agency (NA) or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs or not. 

- This activity and venue place are accessible to people with disabilities.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
