An excellent opportunity for 450 international students from all over the world to apply for ISFiT 2025, the world’s largest international student festival, taking place biennially during the spring semester in Trondheim, Norway. The next festival will happen from the 13th to the 23rd of March 2025.
About the ISFiT 2025
Welcome to the ISFiT 2025 Participant Application! ISFiT, the world’s largest international student festival, takes place biennially in Trondheim, Norway. For 2025, the theme is POWER, and the event will run from March 13th to 23rd. As a participant, you’ll join a global community of students in workshops, debates, and cultural exchanges, contributing your ideas on the theme. ISFiT provides food and accommodation, with additional funds available if needed.
Eligibility | Who can apply?
- All university students and recently graduates from all over the world are eligible to apply
- You need to be actively enrolled in a study programme during the study year 24/25. This should be a university programme or one of equivalent level.
- There is no age limit as long as you're a student at university or institute and your age over 18.
- Participants must be able to communicate in English, however there is no English language certificate needed for joining the Festival
- Participants must be able to join actively the whole duration of the project.
Expenses and Benefits
- There is no application or participation fee for ISFiT 2025
- ISFiT will provide food and accommodation while you are in Trondheim
- The travel costs to and from Norway and any additional expenses are not covered by the program, however you can ask for financial support while you are filling the application form.
- VISA assistance (invitation letter) will be provided for the selected participants to apply for a Schengen visa for Norway
IMPORTANT: The financial is not available for everyone, so we ask that you carefully assess your need before applying. You can request financial support when filling out your application—no documentation is required at that stage. If you are selected, the organisers will contact you for more details.
Timeline
Application deadline: 13th of October 2024
Selection result: Invitation letters will be sent by 17th of November , with participants having until November 26th to accept. If a spot becomes available, those on the waiting list will be notified. Rejection letters will be sent after November 26th.
Festival starts: 13th of March 2025
Festival Ends: 23rd of March 2025
