Winter Camps | Two-month ESC Volunteering project in Poland (Fully Funded)

About the volunteering

As we enter 2025, "Winter Camps" project offers a variety of engaging activities. Volunteers will have the chance to work with children during the winter break, hosting workshops, sports events, DIY projects, and cultural presentations. The outreach will also extend to schools, where volunteers will focus on issues like homelessness, equal opportunities, cultural exchange, and human rights through programs such as Eurocamps and CATventures. Additionally, volunteers will lead health and wellness workshops, including cooking classes that align with international days, such as Healthy Nutella Day on February 5th and World Cancer Day on February 4th. Organisers will also celebrate International Women’s Day with special events highlighting women’s accomplishments and promote linguistic diversity on International Language Day. To cap it off, we'll host the WASP Charity Event, a lively community gathering featuring music, activities, and fundraising for charity.

At the start of the project, there will be an Adaptation Week and cultural events. This time will offer a chance to collaborate with an international team, with English as the main working language, and introduce participants to the Polish language. Participants will also enhance their ability to communicate in multiple languages. After completing the mobility program, they will be awarded a Youth Pass or an ESC Volunteer Diploma.
