An open call for 27 youth workers who are interested in applying feminist values and gender equality principles in their work with young people to apply for the training course "Feminism Is For Everybody" which will take place from 21st of February to 2nd of March 2025 in Busteni, Romania. This project is organised by A.R.T. Fusion Association and co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus plus program of the European Union.
About the training course
The main aim of this training is to enhance the capacity of youth workers from the EU and neighbouring regions to incorporate feminist values and gender equality principles into their work with young people.
This program seeks to delve deeply into the following areas:
- Understanding Feminism: Exploring its definition, history, myths, misconceptions, significance, values, and principles.
- Key Feminist Topics: Addressing issues such as representation, language, humor, societal norms, double standards, gender-based violence, safety, the gender data gap, and the undervaluation of invisible work.
- Practical Application: Providing hands-on sessions focused on communicating feminist messages in personal and professional contexts. This includes skills for debating and discussion, developing feminist strategies at the organisational level, facilitating workshops on these topics, designing online campaigns, and creating personal action plans.
Given the breadth of these topics, it may not be possible to cover all of them in a single training session. While all areas are important, the focus will be adjusted to meet the specific needs and interests of the final group of participants. To achieve this, selected participants will be required to complete an additional form to
