An exciting opportunity for young leaders from all over the world to attend the "One Young World Summit 2025" in Munich, Germany. "One Young World Summit" is one of the largest international conferences that is held annually. It will be held this year 2025 in Germany from 3-6 November. This summit is organised by One Young World Limited, a charity registered in England and Wales. Now the applications are open for young leaders to attend One Young World Summit 2025 via flagship leading scholarship.
About One Young World
One Young World summit is an international community brings together annually more than 2,000 youth leaders in various sectors from more than 190 countries around the world, working together to accelerate social impact in society. Through connecting, exchanging insights, and drawing inspiration from influential figures such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman, and Mary Robinson, delegates collaborate to find solutions.
Upon returning to their communities, these delegates become One Young World Ambassadors equipped with valuable connections, insights, and motivation. They leverage this network of over 15,500 young leaders worldwide to advance ongoing social initiatives or launch new projects.
One Young World is dedicated to recognising impactful young leaders across the globe. Through scholarships, exceptional individuals with demonstrated leadership and change-making abilities in their home countries gain the opportunity to participate. The Leading scholarship initiative specifically ensures representation of outstanding young Europeans at One Young World Summits.
About Leading scholarship
Ensuring that the Summit is accessible to remarkable young leaders from almost every country in the world is pivotal to the mission of One Young World.
Scholarships provide the opportunity for motivated young people who are devising meaningful strategies to build a more sustainable world to attend on the merit of their proven leadership and ability to create change in their home country.
The Leading Scholarship is designed specifically to identify and support outstanding young leaders from countries that are often under-represented at global forums and decision-making spaces.
Eligibility
- You are a young leader in your community and aged between 18 -30* years;
- Have a proven commitment to delivering positive change;
- Demonstrate ability for leadership;
- Focus on tackling significant local and/or global challenges through your work;
- Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas;
- You are a national (passport holding citizen) of one of the eligible countries from Africa, Asia, Americas, Europe, the Pacific and the Middle East.
Note: The One Young World team will consider applications from those who are over the age of 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal influence, initiative and willingness to participate.
Expenses and Benefits
there are some scholarships to attend One Young World Summit 2025 for free. the one we are interested in and will apply through it is the Leading scholarship which includes the following:
- Full delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.
- Free hotel accommodation for 4 days between 2-6 November 2025.
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Travel Expenses to and from Munich, Germany will be covered, Your flight to and from Munich must depart from and return to one and the same international airport.
- If you are already selected for a Leading scholarship and require a visa to enter Germany to attend the One Young World Summit 2025, you will be required to pay the visa fee yourself and any further costs associated with the visa application.

Arrival day: 2nd of November 2025
Departure day: 6th of September 2025
Note: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Only selected delegates will be contacted by One Young World team for confirming their participation.
Selection Process
Please keep in mind:
- Priority will be given to applicants from countries that have been less represented at previous One Young World summits.
- First-time Summit attendees will be given a priority over One Young World Ambassadors.
- Due to the high amount of applications, organisers are unable to respond to individual emails regarding the outcome of the Leading Scholarship selection process.
- Feedback regarding non-selection reasons will not be provided.
