An exciting opportunity for university students from all over the world to apply for the 19th edition of the Bucharest Summer University, an international cultural and academic event which will take place between 10th and 24th of August 2025 at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania. The Bucharest Summer University (BSU) is organized annually by the Bucharest University Student Union and the Bucharest University Student Senate, with academic guidance from one of the university's twelve faculties, and offers students around the world a unique combination of academic rigor and cultural exploration.

The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) is a prestigious public university in Bucharest, Romania, established in 1913 as the Academy of Higher-level Commercial and Industrial Studies. It is one of the largest and most respected institutions for economic and business education in Romania and Southeastern Europe.

About Bucharest Summer University 2025

The Bucharest Summer University 2025 is the 19th edition of Bucharest Summer University, which is organized this year under the title "Marketing in the AI Era". It is an official summer school of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, welcoming students from all academic backgrounds to discover a wide range of globally relevant topics rooted in economics but enriched by diverse academic perspectives and cultural exchange. 

All academic sessions will revolve around this year’s exciting topic: Marketing in the AI Era: Insights, Engagement, Innovation. Throughout the two-week program, participants will take part in a dynamic mix of courses, seminars, workshops, and debates, led and moderated by renowned professors as well as national and international experts in the field. These sessions are designed to spark critical thinking, innovation, and real-world insight into how artificial intelligence is transforming the world of marketing.

Beyond the two weeks of study, BSU is all about making unforgettable memories. Participants have the opportunity to dive into Romanian culture through exciting activities such as a Bucharest city tour, a weekend adventure trip, fun team-building activities, vibrant social events, and the world-famous Global Village, where everyone showcases their country with traditional food, music, and more. And that's just the beginning, with many more surprises and atmospheres awaiting us along the way.

Eligibility | Who can Apply? 

The Bucharest Summer University is open for:

- University Students from all levels (Bachelor, Master, or PhD);

- Students aged between 18 and 26, from all around the world; 

- Students must have a good command of English, since it is the main language of the summer school.

To take part, you have to choose between three categories of applications: Full Scholarship, Partial Payment, or Total Payment. 

For Full Scholarship

Additional fees: 50 EUR

For Partial Payment

Price: 450 € (Early Bird)

Price: 550 € (Late Bird)

Additional fees: 30 EUR

For Total Payment

Price: 750 €* (Early Bird)

Price: 850 € (Late bird)

Please note: Regardless of the payment option you choose, the BSU organising team will guarantee you the following throughout the programme:

• Accommodation in Moxa D student Dormitory, in cozy and modern double bedrooms with two people per room.
• Three meals per day.
• Transportation from the airport upon arrival and to the airport.
• Weekend trip (including hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation)
• Academic courses and extracurricular activities.

Please note: None of the payment options covers your international travel costs to and from Romania.

Additional Notes: The additional fees mentioned above (30-50 EUR) cover costs related to museum entries, laundry facilities, extracurricular materials, and other student services.
